22/04/2008 Change of viewpoint

I am willing to admit it. I was wrong.

Christel Schaldemose used to be the usual uninformed pro-copyright politician, but that changed in 2008, as stated in the above quote. In this article she explains how she got better informed through lots of reading, contact with various lobbyists and in particular IT-Politisk Forening (a danish advocacy group similar to La Quadrature du Net), causing her to change her viewpoint. Since then she has done a great job of defending civil rights on the internet.
