On the 3rd of April the European Parliament will vote on the proposed "regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down measures concerning the European single market for electronic communications and to achieve a Connected Continent". This regulation should, in order to preserve some of the best things about the Internet - a low thresh-hold for new entrants, choice to users, relatively equal access to information freely available -, this regulation should enshrine the principle of Net Neutrality. La Quadrature du Net has studied the amendments proposed by the different political parties in the European Parliament and identified the ones that most go in favour of protecting Net Neutrality.

Letter the European Parliamentarians on the proposed amendments.

What you can do to support Net Neutrality is:

  • phone our MEPs using our free-of-charge Pi-phone
  • tweet information about the vote using the hashtags #NetNeutrality and/or #OpenNetAms calling on your MEPs to support NetNeutrality
  • letters to the editor
  • T-shirts spray painted with "We LOVE NetNeutrality" or some such...
