The Internet should facilitate easier access to cultural products and to share them. Digital software moreover enables the possibility of creating new art using existing artworks (mashup, remix, parody). Copyright must evolve in order to adapt to contemporary cultural practices, and alternative solutions to the problem of financial profitability of creativity and innovation exist.
