  • Founder and editor of daily and weekly newspapers in paper, electronic and 'free press' format, (since 2004, publication of series specialising in consumer rights and preventive medicine/health protection) (1990-2009)
  • Founder of a group of companies operating in the communication sector in Italy: publication of daily newspapers and periodicals, TV production, Internet (1990-2009)
  • Chair and founder of the 'Europe of Rights' movement, defending the rights of citizens (since 2004)
  • Member of the national steering group of the Unione di Centro (UDC) as Member of the European Parliament (since 2009)
  • Full member of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) and substitute member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE)
  • Adviser to the Chair of the Health and Hygiene Committee of the Italian Senate (since 2008)
